Description: Tignanello is considered one of Tuscany's pioneering wines and the origin of the "Super Tuscans." In the 1970s, Piero Antinori revolutionized the Chianti style by using international grape varieties like Cabernet Sauvignon and eschewing traditional guidelines. Because this cuvée did not conform to the then-current DOC rules, it was long declared as Vino da Tavola. Today, Tignanello stands for elegance, structure, and a courageous break with convention.
