Maniola Wines is a trading and consulting company specializing in high-quality and rare wines. We support private collectors, restaurants, and businesses with the purchase, valuation, and management of their wines.

2. What wines does Maniola Wines offer?

Our assortment includes exquisite wines from leading regions such as Bordeaux, Burgundy, Champagne, Italy, Germany, Austria, and the New World, as well as large formats, collector's wines, and exclusive allocations – with a focus on aged vintages, limited editions, and iconic producers.

3. Can I also buy wines directly online?

Yes, you can order selected wines directly through our online shop shop.maniola-wines.com. For special requests or rare wines, please contact us personally.

4. Does Maniola Wines offer consultation services?

Of course. We advise on wine purchasing, collection compilation, food pairings, investment wines, vintage valuations, and gastronomic wine lists.

5. I am looking for a specific rare wine – can you help?

Yes. Through our network, we can often source rare or sold-out wines. Send us an inquiry, and we will check availability, origin, and condition.

6. How does Maniola Wines guarantee the authenticity and quality of the wines?

We work exclusively with trustworthy suppliers, wine merchants, and private collectors. Every bottle is checked for condition, storage, and provenance before being offered for sale.

7. How is shipping handled?

We ship throughout Europe and worldwide upon request with UPS in certified wine shipping boxes. Upon request, we offer express and temperature-controlled shipping.

8. Can I also pick up my order?

By prior arrangement, personal pickup in the Vienna area is possible.

9. Does Maniola Wines also offer events or tastings?

Yes, we organize private tastings, corporate events, wine seminars, and exclusive tastings for collectors and wine lovers.

10. How can I pay?

In the online shop, common payment methods such as credit card, PayPal, Klarna, and bank transfer are available. Individual invoices can be paid by bank transfer.

11. Can I store my wine with Maniola Wines?

Upon request, we assist with brokering professional wine storage facilities and managing existing stock.

12. Can I sell wines to Maniola Wines?

Yes. We purchase selected high-class collections or individual rarities. Please send us a list or photos of the bottles for an initial assessment.

13. Do you also ship to Japan, Singapore, or Hong Kong?

Yes. We regularly ship high-quality wines to Japan, Singapore, and Hong Kong.

Please contact us before placing your order at office@maniola-wines.com. We will be happy to provide you with an individual shipping offer and inform you about shipping costs, delivery times, and customs clearance.

Our wines are packed in certified wine shipping cartons and, in high temperatures, additionally protected with insulating material. Customs declaration is handled by our shipping service provider. Any import duties, customs fees, or taxes incurred in the recipient country are to be borne by the buyer.

14. What does differential taxation mean?

A part of our assortment comes from the cellars of private collectors and wine lovers. These wines are personally inspected by us for origin, storage conditions, and provenance. For selected stocks, we also taste bottles from the same batch to best assess the quality.

These wines are sold under differential taxation in accordance with legal provisions. This means that VAT cannot be shown on the invoice, and thus no input tax deduction is possible.

All affected wines are clearly marked on the respective product page with the notice "Differentially taxed".

15. Do you offer intra-Community supplies for companies within the EU?

Yes. For companies within the European Union, we offer VAT-exempt intra-Community supplies.

Please contact us before placing your order at office@maniola-wines.com. After verifying your valid VAT identification number, we will issue you an invoice without Austrian VAT.

We handle the entire processing of the intra-Community supply, including the necessary documentation. Upon receipt of payment, we will ship your order securely and professionally packaged to the desired delivery address within the EU.

We are happy to provide you with an individual offer and support you with questions about the process or shipping costs.

21. Who advises me at Maniola Wines?

Behind Maniola Wines is sommelier Manuel Lindemayr, with many years of experience in international wine trading as well as in upscale gastronomy and hospitality.

In addition to personal consultation for collectors, businesses, and wine lovers, he works as a sommelier and wine consultant for Feinkost Käfer at the Munich Oktoberfest. There, he is responsible for, among other things, advising guests, the professional service of rare premium wines, and managing the exclusive wine list.

This experience flows daily into the selection of our assortment and the personal advice we offer our customers.
