Description: Tignanello is considered one of Tuscany's pioneering wines and the origin of the "Super Tuscans". In the 1970s, Piero Antinori revolutionized the Chianti style by using international grape varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon and foregoing traditional guidelines. Since this cuvée did not comply with the then DOC rules, it was long declared as Vino da Tavola. Today, Tignanello stands for elegance, structure, and a courageous break with conventions.
