Description: The Ried Singerriedel is one of the most legendary vineyards in the Wachau. Steep terraces of barren primary rock and gneiss characterize the soils and give the wines their distinctive minerality. The Pannonian-continental climate with warm days and cool nights ensures tension and longevity. Above all, Riesling reaches world-class level here. Franz Hirtzberger vinifies the site traditionally and uncompromisingly – Singerriedel stands for depth, precision and great uniqueness.

Origin: The wines come from a private collector's cellar in Carinthia. The wines were purchased directly from the winery and have since been stored in the house's wine cellar at a good temperature.

 ATTENTION: 2001 is one of Austria's greatest white wine years!
