Description:

The Lamarein by Josephus Mayr Unterganzner is a rare cult wine from South Tyrol, made from selected, dried Lagrein grapes using the Appassimento method. The long drying process gives it enormous density and concentration. On the nose, dark berries, cherry, plum, and hints of chocolate and spices. On the palate, powerful, full-bodied, and supported by a distinctive tannin structure. Aging in concrete and wood provides depth, warmth, and exceptional length. A unique, intense wine with high recognition value.
