Description: The Grüner Veltliner Smaragd Honivogl by Franz Hirtzberger is one of the great white wines of the Wachau. The sun-drenched vineyard in Spitz produces powerful, profound wines with exceptional ripeness and elegance. The nose reveals yellow fruits, ripe pear, fine herbal spice, and mineral notes. On the palate, it is dense, complex, and precise, with vibrant acidity and impressive length. A characterful Grüner Veltliner with great aging potential, it pairs particularly well with hearty fish dishes, veal, and Austrian cuisine.

Origin: The wines come from a private collector's cellar in Carinthia. The wines were purchased directly from the winery and have since been stored at a well-tempered environment in the house's wine cellar.
