Description: Granato is Foradori's iconic flagship wine and one of the most impressive interpretations of the indigenous Teroldego grape variety. It comes from pergola vines, on average around 70 years old, in three vineyards of the Campo Rotaliano near Mezzolombardo. Stony, alluvial soils give it depth and mineral tension. Fermentation takes place in open wooden vats, followed by 15 months of aging in tonneaux. Granato combines dark fruit, floral spice, powerful structure and silky tannins with remarkable elegance, vibrancy and great aging potential in the winery's distinctive, independent style.
