Description: The Cuvée da Capo 1998 was the first vintage of this legendary premium cuvée from Domaine du Pégau. It comes from the oldest vines of the famous La Crau site and consists predominantly of Grenache, supplemented by the traditional grape varieties of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Matured for two years in large wooden barrels, it presents itself as monumental yet balanced: cassis, dark cherries, garrigue, liquorice, truffles, pepper and roasted herbs. A powerful, profound Rhône classic with silky tannins and enormous length.

Origin: Very beautiful bottles with good fill levels from a climate-controlled private cellar, stored there for 20 years.
