Château La Pointe, one of the largest wineries in Pomerol, has a long history that began in the 19th century. The name derives from the triangular shape of the estate, which extends over 23 hectares – an exceptional size for the appellation The soils combine gravel, sand and clay, ideal for the main grape variety Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc.
