Description:
Lucien Le Moine is not a classic winery, but an exceptional micro-négociant house based in Beaune , founded by Mounir Saouma and Rotem Brakin in 1999. Their approach: to vinify exclusively Premier Cru and Grand Cru vineyards in tiny quantities – always from the best plots, mostly from biodynamic winemakers, and produced with the highest artisanal standards.
What makes this wine so special is that Lucien Le Moine only purchases ready-made grape must or young wines and oversees them with the utmost precision from the very first moment in the cellar. The wines are matured exclusively in new, finest French pièces, with a long aging period on the lees, without batonnage or filtration.
The wines are powerful yet elegant, characterized by depth, energy, and a distinctive house style. Each vintage is limited—usually only one or two barrels per vineyard—and is aimed at connoisseurs, collectors, and lovers of great Burgundy wines.
Lucien Le Moine stands for uncompromising quality, great provenance, and refined craftsmanship – a true insider tip among the greats.
