Description:

The Lamarein by Josephus Mayr Unterganzner is a rare cult wine from South Tyrol, made from selected, dried Lagrein grapes using the Appassimento method. The long drying process gives it enormous density and concentration. The nose reveals dark berries, cherry, plum, as well as hints of chocolate and spices. On the palate, it is powerful, full-bodied, and supported by a prominent tannin structure. Aging in concrete and wood provides depth, warmth, and exceptional length. A distinctive, intense wine with great recognition value.
