In this data protection declaration we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within the framework of our website and our online shop.

4.1. Data that you provide to us/share with us: In principle, you do not have to share any personal information with us directly when using our website. However, for our contact form or our newsletter subscription, you must share personal data such as your name or email address with us in order to be able to use the respective service at all. You will be informed about this separately for the respective services.

5. Purpose, legal basis, storage period and data recipient

5.1. We at Maniola Wines eU require the collected personal data for purposes such as contract fulfillment, billing, customer service and advertising purposes.

5.2. The legal basis for the processing of your personal data is contract performance, legitimate interests, the fulfillment of our legal obligations and your consent. Explicit consent is only required for the newsletter and cookies.

5.3. We process your personal data, as far as necessary, for the duration of the entire business relationship (from initiation, processing to termination of a contract) and beyond that in accordance with the statutory retention and documentation obligations arising, among other things, from the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB), the Federal Tax Code (BAO) and until the end of any legal dispute, ongoing warranty and guarantee periods, etc.

5.4. As part of the operation of our website, we commission IT service providers, agencies, and the processing banks/payment service providers who may have access to your personal data. All of our service providers are obliged to comply with the applicable data protection regulations and, where necessary, order processing contracts have been concluded in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR.

6. Contact form

6.1. Your details, including personal data from our contact form, will be sent to us via our own mail server to process your request, further processed and stored by us. This data will not be collected or passed on without your consent. Without this data, we cannot process your requests.

6.2. The data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Section 96 Paragraph 3 TKG and Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a (Consent) GDPR.

7. Newsletter

7.1. You have the option of subscribing to our newsletter via our website. For this we need your email address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter. The data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Section 96 Paragraph 3 TKG and Article 6 Paragraph 1 Letter a (consent) GDPR.

You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. Please use the unsubscribe link in the newsletter or send your cancellation to the following email address: office@maniola-wines.com We will then immediately delete your data in connection with the newsletter dispatch.

8. Data security

8.1. Maniola Wines eU uses technical and organizational security measures to protect the stored personal data against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss or destruction and against access by unauthorized persons. Our security measures are continuously improved in line with technical progress.

8.2. We use appropriate security measures to protect your data during the payment process. Credit card details are transmitted in encrypted form and are not stored by us.

9. Consent and right of withdrawal

9.1 If your consent is necessary for the processing of your data, we will only process it after you have given your express consent.

9.2. As a general rule, we do not process data of minors and are not authorized to do so. By giving your consent, you confirm that you are at least 14 years old or that you have the consent of your legal guardian.

In such a case, the data previously stored about you will be anonymized and subsequently used only for statistical purposes without any personal reference. The revocation of consent does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.
