Description:

Domaine Koji and Jae Hwa was founded in 2012, initially acquiring vines in Prémeaux-Prissey and Clos La Brunelle in Gevrey-Chambertin. In 2016, acquisitions followed in Marsannay, later in Hautes Côtes de Nuits and Gevrey-Chambertin, expanding the estate to 6 hectares. Organic viticulture has been practiced since the beginning, leading to organic certification in 2016. The use of the lunar calendar and herbal preparations have been considered since then. Since 2018, the domaine has used biodynamic methods to strengthen the plants. To reduce environmental impact, horses and plows are used instead of machines on some plots. The 2021 vintage was bottled sulfur-free for the first time.
