Description:
Château Pavie, one of the crown jewels of Saint-Émilion, has a history dating back to the 4th century. The 37 hectares of vineyards, predominantly Merlot, supplemented by Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon, thrive on the unique limestone and clay soils of the famous limestone plateau.
The estate was elevated to the highest classification "Premier Grand Cru Classé A" in 2012, an honor that only a few wineries receive. Pavies wines are powerful, rustic and complex, with aromas of ripe dark fruit, mineral notes and a remarkable ageing capacity. The château is characterized by a harmonious combination of tradition and modernity, making it a flagship of Saint-Émilion - a true icon of the Bordeaux region.
MANIOLA WINES NOTE: Wines come from a private collector's cellar and were purchased from the importer at the time and have been stored in this wine cellar since then.
