Description: Château Ducru-Beaucaillou, a renowned Deuxième Grand Cru Classé from Saint-Julien, owes its name to the “beautiful stones” (Beaucaillou) of its gravelly terroir, which offers ideal conditions for Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. Founded in the 18th century, it has been owned by the Borie family since 1941, who manage it with great dedication. The wines are known for their elegance, finesse, and exceptional longevity, characterized by dark berries, cedarwood, and mineral notes. The impressive château, surrounded by picturesque vineyards, reflects the excellence that makes Ducru-Beaucaillou one of the best representatives of the Médoc appellation. A classic for connoisseurs and collectors alike.
Origin: Wines come from a private collector's cellar and were bought in original wooden cases of 12 from the importer at the time and have been stored in this wine cellar ever since.
