Description: Biondi Santi is considered the original winery of Brunello di Montalcino and, like hardly any other estate, stands for uncompromising tradition. Since the 19th century, the family has been working with its own Sangiovese clone, extremely long maturation periods and a deliberately conservative style. The estate covers around 47 hectares of vineyards around Tenuta Greppo. The philosophy is characterized by patience, longevity and fidelity to the terroir: low yields, large barrels and wines that often only reveal their full potential in the glass after decades.
Origin: Bottles come from a private collector's cellar in Munich.
