Description:

The Amarone Classico Costasera 1998 is made from Corvina, Rondinella and Molinara grapes. The grapes are traditionally dried on bamboo racks to increase the concentration of aromas and sugars.

The hill on which the vineyards are located is called "Costasera" and is known for its particularly favorable location for viticulture. The grapes that grow on these slopes benefit from a mild climate, good sunlight and calcareous soil.

All this, together with the very good 1998 vintage, make this Amarone one of the best of its vintage.
